CHAIRMAN’S DESK MR SANTANU GHOSH –CHAIRMAN XENITIS GROUP Xenitis was formed in 2002. Under the leadership of Mr Santanu Ghosh the humble firm of 2002  grew leaps and bounds clocking Rs885 cr in turnover in 2009-2010 with 650 employees.   Mr Ghosh furthered the cause of computer literacy for the masses by launching India’s first sub  10K PC. He rewrote Eastern India’s business history by bringing AAMAR PC to the drawing room  of the common man. Diversifying into various core sectors Mr Ghosh consolidated the Group’s position with  investment in key sectors like Information Technology, Education & Telecommunication. He  created a manufacturing Hub in West Bengal by entering into various technological  collaboration with various domestic and foreign companies to turn “Hooghly into a smaller  version of Detroit” – incidentally Hooghly is  Mr Ghosh’s Manufacturing Hub. His newest initiative is foraying into Telecommunication business and have massive expansion  plans of the IT hardware components (computer cases, power supply, keyboard & mouse)  and  PC division both laptops and desktops across India. His utmost perseverance and conviction in the future is displayed as he held the Group together  during the trying times of worldwide economic downturn. The market, he says, may not be  taken for granted- ignorance and negligence of the unforgiving market has seen to the death of  several business dynasties, to say nothing of smaller enterprises. A computer graduate from US with a six year stint with Digital (erstwhile Compaq) and IBM, Mr  Ghosh makes his home in Kolkata with his wife and two daughters.
